My "sneaky" Japanese opponent came back to Pearl for a second go at my ships and planes. We are playing Nik Mod with 2 day turns and 95% of my ships in Pearl have 1000 op points used last turn (12-9-41). Why?? [&:][&:]

They did not go anywhere, but just sat there as targets.[X(]
Is this something new with patch 1.8.01??

The ships most likely reloaded fuel and AAA ammunition.

Will 95% of the ships already in Pearl use all their AAA ammo in two days?? Even the PT boats had used up 1000 op points. [&:]  No ship had moved in 4 days after the intial attack and the end of that 2 day cycle had no ship using any op points (they could have done so at the end of the first day).

I just want to know if this in normal game play or a recent change??

Pretty sure this was always happening, ships that were attacked while disbanded in port turned out to have 0 op points available if formed into TFs the following turn. Guess it takes considerable time and effort to organize TFs out of the chaos of a port filled with sunk or burning ships.

Same as with Bombardment TFs..even when they use only fraction of ammo they always use 1000 ops point to reload.

I've lost op points for disbanding TFs into point before. I figured they took on fuel or something.
