Is the PO a better defender?

I always thought the TOAW PO was pretty good on attack, but weak on defense. I notice the change notes say the PO is a better attacker. Has its ability to defend been improved as well?

It's a little better. It should be more realistic in some scenarios, since it understands being cut off from supply, and being encircled better than it did.

It depends on the force ratios, and the state of fluidity in the battle field. It will fight better than it would before, with roughly equal numbers, and in fluid battles. In static, defensive situations, it hasn't really improved.

Thanks for the candid response, and thanks for updating what is still my favorite wargame!  I just read it was released, and will be refreshing the store cache constantly until it is on my hard drive.

There's a link at the top of the forum that goes straight to the store, and avoids that problem.
