Is there one available? The manuals nice, but then again nothing nice like a few turn walkthrough.

There are four tutorials.

What I cannot figure out is how to do them. Nothing in the manual, and I didn't see anything to start anything in-game. I did read through the scenario briefing but I was looking for something that walks you through how to play.

The button just to the right of the play button indicates whether or not there is additional documentation (it's a little subtle.) If you click on it, it will load the additional documentation for that scenario.

Click on the circled button to launch a reader for the associated document for a scenario. For these scenarios, the documents are in MS Word .DOC file formats, so you will need some word processing program that allows you to work in, or read, .DOC files. You should open the document before you start the game, and follow the directions in the tutorials.

You did read the "WhatsNew" .PDF document that is a Start Menu item, didn't you? It lists the suggested order of progression through the tutorials.

The default 'WordPad' reader seems to work fine, just ignore the errors.

LoL! Good answer! "WhatsNew" is Matrix Games' version of a "readme" file. In this case, it is a little more appropriately named, since there is a lot of stuff that is new. Anyhow, thanks for buying. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Oh...and take the time to read the manual. There was a lot of hard work that went into revising and laying it out, so that new players can find what they need to know.

Just a hint for the tutorial: After installation, options are set to "standard rules", however the tutorial document seems to assume that they are set to "advanced rules". Under standard rules such things as the right click menu for units are disabled.

I had about 200 errors (no exageration) when I tried to pull it up.
I had to hold down enter to clear the errors before I could view the file.

Most of the scenario documents are in .doc format. This is the one used by Microsoft Word. If you have access to a hand me down copy of that, even an old Office 97 cd, you should install it, so that you can read them. If you use the proper reader, then you should not have any errors.

As far as converting them to .pdf format, I would have to ask if we can do that for a future upgrade, but at this time it is not something that we can easily do.

You can use OpenOffice.org, it is a multiplatform and multilingual office suite and an open-source project. Compatible with all other major office suites, the product is free to download, use, and distribute. It have also a converter to pdf. You can download it from HERE.
