I've posted a couple of things which are "little" negatives...wanting to call in arty WITH risk of FF, a minor bug where the interface doesn not remember you reversed the buttons...

But feeling guilty, I decided to post on the pluses..."nothing worse than releasing a work of art and people just mentioning the what ifs and issues....

Maps are beautiful
Scenarios look extremely varied and exciting
Order of Battle is fantastic
Supply is extraordinary
Mixed movement is fantasti (from what I've observed)

In short - the game is very polished and fantastically playable.

There...now fix my mouse thingy! [;)]

try "Pulling Tight the Noose" as multiplayer. I think this is the closest to "Terror of the Tyne Tees"... an HttR classic!

Oh yeah ? I'm going to try this one then...I loved "Terror of the Tyne Tees" (I even did an AAR on it in the HTTR forum), it was one of these scenarios that made me sweat of panic at some point in the scenario [:)]

I wish they would do some eastern front games

they are working on it!! You need to read up on Panzer Battles by von Mellenthin specifcally the action around the Chir river and 11th PZ so's you will be ready when it does come out!

Their next release (they are aiming for this Xmas) is Battle for the Bulge (BFTB) and then after that I believe it is Red Star Rising which will go on the Eastern Front.

However, if you haven't bought COTA yet, don't let the fact that COTA is happening in a less well-known theater of WWII (Greece, Crete and Malta) as a reason for not buying it. There are several very interesting battles in there with Operation Marika (the invasion of Greece) and Merkur. You will have as much fun as with any other East Front historical scenario and you will learn some interesting things at the same time !

I can concur that these battles look fantastic and very entertaining. Having fired up a couple, the briefings alone get me going...and I was not interested one bit in the Greek campaign (sorry all Greek people).
