after doing the basic tutorial and and knockin' off a couple of Jack n' waters I said what the hell lets get our feet wet and I tried Hist. Iraklion as the Germans.........Oh' S**t was that an experience but I learned/was taught some things [;)] . Has anyone tried it yet as Germans and won (vs AI, which by the way is one of the best AI's I have seen..........most of em' you can go thru like a hot knife/butter). Guess I'll mix another one [:D] and fire up the advanced tutorial...........to Mark and all at Panther and Matrix another big thumbs up![&o]

I'll check my notes in a few minutes to see if I have done that one (have to boot up the laptop).

Okay, I played it twice. Once with 3115 and once with 3116. First, was a decisive defeat and second, a draw. Although I thought I should have had a victory on the second one. (meaning WinMeter was pegged to the right!)

Well I tried taking the airfield on the first go round ( in a amaturish fashion I'm sure [;)] ) and failed miserably. I am going after Iraklion/Port plus Krisoply and might have a shot at this. The German deployments (being divided in 3 dif spots basically) and the poor German overall plan for the Crete operation (too many initial objectives me thinks leading too poor concentration of forces) may make this a tuff nut to crack for this PFC when it comes to HHTR/COTA experience......[:D] !
