I find out there is a 0.014 patch. So I try to sign up as a "member" to access the beta patch and never get a confirmation email. So no access to members and no patch. Somebody please help.

Overly aggressive spam blockers are often the culprit here. Yahoo will likely send it directly to your bulk mail folder. Other services may do likewise. Check your email blocking and see if it's hiding among all the various special offers for the "enhancements" you don't need...[;)]
