Tale of the Tape....

Great Feature, is that actually linked to how far the ball was hit or is it a random number generated after a HR?

The reason I ask if it is actually based on how far the ball traveled, would there be a way to designate how far a fly ball out traveled? For example: Fly out to center field (380 feet).

The reason I ask is at times it is very hard to judge how far a ball is hit and when to tag up. I have had runners with 90+ sppeed been caught at home plate when hitting a ball to right field and a normal fly out play (throwers arm 60). The fly out was not designated shallow or deep, so I would of assumed that I would make it.

Just an idea....

The distance of all fly balls actually shows up in the game log, but for some reason it doesn't show so you can tell while you're playing.

And so you are right lol, just checked. Can we PLEAASSEEEE [&o] get this added to the pbp when the out is recorded. I'm sure just about everyone here would love it! [:)]

Agree with this. I had an 82 speed player thrown out from deep center...maybe he slipped... but this feature if added would be most helpful

Definately agree. Tagging up is getting to be a crapshoot here for me :)

Awesome, thanks. I'll give it a whirl here this week (whenever I get some time to put in a few games).

Nice touch, Shaun. I love seeing how far the ball was hit. Keep up the great work.
