Is there any advantage to the Axis producing an A bomb (heavy bomber level 10)
other than preventing an allied auto victory if the allies have the bomb? If axis only have it, there seems no real gain?

I didn't think the Axis could get the 'A' bomb? but if you've teched your bombers to 10 as the axis....isn't that sort of benifit in itself?

I think freetalk is correct. Anyone can develop the abomb if they meet the criteria, but the only benefit to the Axis is that if an Axis player develops it - the Allies cannot win their AV. That's my understanding of the rules anyway. I've never seen the Axis come close to an Abomb in PBEM because of the cost, but it looks like its possible!

I got to that point in a recent game against a friend. It is possible, though expensive and takes a while. I am happy to email the game save if anyone is interested. I think the rules need some revision to allow for the event
