Interdiction Question

I have had embarked airmobile and airborne units intercepted by aircraft on anti-air mission, I have had embarked ground units knocked out of their railcars by interdiction aircraft. I have also been shot up while traveling down a road, all of this is to be expected.

Why is it that units embarked for sea movement are not attacked by interdiction aircraft? It seems to me that is an important mission and if you do not have air superiority you should not be conducting amphibious operations. As it is now I can move armies by sea without so much as a strafing run as long as I make it on the beach.

Is this something that will be addressed or would too much work be involved and TOAW IV is the most likely candidate.

It is not currently planned for inclusion in TOAW III. We have several other things that we are working on first. When we are finished with the queue of features, enhancements and improvements, we'll see if we can implement it within TOAW III.
