Sind hier, ausser mir, noch andere deutschsprechende Personen anwesend?

Are there any other German speaking persons out there?

Aber klar doch. Wir sind überall.

Was liegt an?

Das war mir sonnenklar, aber einige Leute in diesem Forum haben sich gewundert, dass keine Deutschen hier sind. Da hab ich mir gedacht, ich zähl mal nach Image .

I never believed there weren´t any, but some persons wondered wether there weren´t any Germans. So I thought let us count.

Hallo Frank!

Ich glaube wir kennen uns schon. :-)

Aber für alle Anderen:
Hallo aus Deutschland!

Bin hier eher unregelmäßig:
Familie, Job, sonstige Aktivitäten....
und sonstige faulen Ausreden.

Also bis dann...
Harry

--------
Now rough translation

Hi Frank!

I think we know us already. :-)

But for the rest:
Greetings from Germany!

I'm here only sporadic:
Family, Job, other activities....
and other lame excuses.

So long...
Harry

No your English is much better then my German, I can however read a bottle of Piesporter! Keep posting in German (or whatever language) it is a good way for us non speakers to learn proper grammer I always get the words in the wrong order making hash out of what I want to say.

Mogami:
Dieses Problem ist mir durchaus bekannt. Ich selbst muß mich immer sehr bemühen keine ganz furchtbaren Englischsätze zu machen

I know this problem. I always have little problems to make not too awfull English sentences.

Harry:
Schöne Grüße an Dich und Deine Familie.
Greetings to you and your family.

Alle Anderen:
Vielen Dank, dass Ihr Euch gemeldet habt.
Thanks for posting.

Do you German-speakers actually live in Germany? The reason I ask is that I have always heard that this sort of game was illegal in Germany. Even the game "Risk" could not be sold there. POssibly times have changed.

Hi Croaker,

i can´t remember, that anytime such games are illegal in germany. only games mit "hakenkreuzen" or "SS-runes" are illegal here....but normally such games are expecially for use in germany "updated"

A few years after WWI all wargames, espacially small figures, have been forbidden. The BRD even have no forces a few years. After the few years, cold war was hot and all demilitarisation disappears..

We have some forbidden symbols here: the swatiska, the SS-runes and all similar symbols, too.
The game Panzergeneral 1 was forbidden, too.

Habe es auch erst im Nachhinein aus dem Fernsehen erfahren. Macht nix, war trotzdem ein gutes Spiel :D. (Man soll ja auch nur 100 auf der Landstrasse fahren :cool :)

I learned it from TV, years later. But that doesn´t matter, it was a good game.
(You don´t have to drive to fast, too and nobody cares)
