I've to start the game without the cinematic animation, the option to disable is avaiable only after the first start of the game, my problem is that my pc freeze before

It is possible to disable the cinematic option in some *.ini file ?

Good. The AVI and WMV files are not required, and only show up when you start the game. A couple of people have noticed problems playing them. They can be deleted or renamed without concern.

Or add "nointro" to the TOAW command line in the shortcut you use to start it.

Question about these movies... Why is the Talonsoft movie still in there? Was that required by contract or something? Having 5 movies is a BIT much, for future reference, BTW... Perhaps in the future you all could write to a file or something and have those movies not run if we've already seen them... that way we wouldn't have to delete them or run with nointro... not a big deal either way.
