SB2C Helldiver availability

Does Jan 43 seem too early to anyone as the avail date for Helldivers in CHS? I'm assuming the variant being modelled in CHS is the SB2C-4, avail Jan 44. The earlier types were real pigs and did not even see combat until November 43. Maybe two variants should be modelled considering how different the performance characteristics are between the pre -4 and the -4 on.

I don't mind the early debut (just wondering) considering the lack of slots and the lack of any way to model all the teething troubles the Japanese had with their later production types. If the Japanese player gets to benefit from a perfect world no reason why the Allies can't.[:)]

RHS - which has strict standards for availability and generally is later than CHS - also has 11/43. This is not by any means too early - since

"The first operational sortee was made on November 11, 1943 when VB-17 attacked Rabaul."
