Wrong Coffee Blues...

Well, here I sit, trapped by my own intellectual flatulence, at 2:00 Bloody A.M. because I made 'real' coffee instead of decaf at 9:00 PM. So, I have been traipsing through all of the installations of WitP and pondering my Naval internally. And, from this Wonderous Quandary, I have a question. Is there even the slightest hint of a possiblity of a chance that someone will convert Scenario 14 (42B) over into an Andrew Brown map with a CHS format?, or are the majority of players only interested in the first six months of the war?
I would even settle for a scenario in which Midway was not the debacle for the IJN that happened in RL. Maybe only one CV sunk, the other three with varying degrees of damage, but capable of being resuscitated with some time in the body and fender shop. I know this would be a strictly hypothetical scenario, but I would even trade off the waste of good steel which was the Shinano for a couple of Taihos in such a case. That might make the late war situation a real different breed of cat. What the Hey, go all the way and instead of spending the time converting Junyo and Hiyo, make them clones of Hiryu and Soryu, maybe arriving a tad later. If Shinano isn't being built, there should be the steel for that, and how much would the IJN player like to have a couple of good sized 25 kt. APs?
And, somewhere deep in one of the threads, a question was asked about what would the P-39 be like if someone in the Air Office of the USAAC acutually used their brains for something besides separating their ears, and let Bell develop the beast with the turbocharger with which it was designed. Well, take a look at the P-63A in the game. How would you like to have that instead of that amemic P-39D, or possibly an extrapolated version somewhere between? It ought to be at least better than the P-40B and the P-400.
Ah well, so much for a cup of decaf. See you later.
