I cannot figure out how to do an amphibious attack. I have loaded men on transports then tried to move them into enemy held territory get illegal move message. I have tried to move all at once strategically into a territory with transports off shore again get illegal move message. Help!

In the War Room area at the top there is a thread titled amphibious assaults. Check out that thread as it explains how to do it. You are probably not aware of the amphibious lift rating of the transports that needs to be considered (an area with a transport might show something like 30/3 meaning they only have 3 amphibious lift points and you need 5 in an area to land one infantry unit).
