Well I installed the game and even though I have DX 9.0c and Netflex 2.2 I tell it to install those also, it does its thing I start the gane and load a battle and it goes to the loading screen to the point of loading sounds and I get the dreaded CRASH TO DESKTOP with no error message.....whats up?????

captskillet,
The most common reason for a crash is that video drivers are out of date. Nvidia and Ati both update their drivers so often, it's hard to keep up.
Since that is not always the case, can you send your game log file and a dx diag report to
support@matrixgames.com?
game log
tm.asp?m=1177123
dxdiag
tm.asp?m=1176885

I think I know what problem is with a little guidance I tk I can fix it..........when I ran A dxdiag I Noticed on the front screen of the DirectX files tab the following note......
DirectX Files Tab: The file system.dll is missing! You should reinstall DirectX to get the latest version.
this is even though I let the game load Directx9.0c and then I went to Microsoft and got the latest from there and loaded ??????????
can I use regserv32 to fixandwhere does this file need to be since I can get a copy off the net???

Quick question...Where can i upload my DxDiag, and Logfile to? I sent them both to the support-e-mail, but was hoping to get a solution quicker through these threads.

You can also post your files here as attachments to your post, just click on the "Click here to upload!" link when typing in a new post and attach the file as a text file.
Sending them to
support@matrixgames.com at the moment is not a great idea actually since we're almost all at the show and thus that account is getting less attention than usual. Posting those files here will get you the quickest response.
Also, just to check, did you allow both the .NET and DirectX installers to run (the screen late in the installation with the two check boxes)? If not, please reinstall and make sure you run those.
Regards,
- Erik

The logfile helps a lot.
Are you on a laptop?
Your video hardware is Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller
I see your graphics driver is 6.14.10.4396, but there's a newer one on Intel's website (6.14.19.50). If you are on a laptop, you might check your laptop's vendor's website first.
Here's Intel's page for that device:

Hi captskillet,
sorry but you are not matching the minimal system requirements on the Laptop.
You have an integrated graphic chip/controller (Intel 82852/82855 Graphics Controller) that uses shared RAM (means it is getting its needs for video RAM from the standard system RAM). The system specs demand for a graphic card with at least 64mb of RAM.
Since you only have 512mb RAM and are running Windows XP (minimum for running on windows XP is 512mb) there is literally no RAM left for the graphic chip your Laptop has. That is most probably the reason for the CTD.
Additionally the Intel 82852/82855 family has only limited DirectX 9.0 compatibility. It is a chip ment for business and office machines not necessarily for gaming.

If I go to 1 gig should that solve my problem??

It can, but I fear that the limited capability of the chipset is more likely the problem. Like I mentioned it is a chip ment for business and office machines not for 3D gaming.
