Not easy,considering that you cant play PBEM for Real-time games.

ah no pbem but you can "save" a longer game , so it would be possible to play longer campaigns

It's not easy to find more players if you post your ICQ then deny their request to add you either.

Alex, I would say it's better if you goes online directly; you will learn faster. And when it comes to strategy games, no computer in the world beats the human brain. COTA is ten times more fun multiplayer, than single player.

I have only played 2 games online yet, but I hope there will be more soon!

Another swede here. I bought HTTR ~1 year ago but haven't played it very much (no multiplayer) but couldn't resist the temptation of COTA. Teach me, I'm game!

P.S. I do have a rather silly connection problem at school where I'm hooked up to the internet. Every 15 minutes the connection goes down but then immediately goes up again. Will this be a problem? Guess I have to test.

Ok, tested against Håkan and it broke down after a few minutes, grrr. I will have to resolve this before the war can continue. It's a bit tough with breaks every 15 minutes.

Hi there, I'm certainly keen to have a go online. I just don't have ICQ installed and not sure I want to install it, could I use PM or email instead or is that more trouble than its worth?. I also tried the 'Opponents' link from the main COTA site and it took me to wargamers opponents wanted site, but could not see COTA in the list.

Hopefully have an online game soon.

(I don't use ICQ either, but I have created an ICQ number just for playing COTA. So if you see me online, that means I am up for a fight...)

I'll be looking for online players in a few weeks after I learn the game a bit better. I never played HTTR.
