Using 1.18

Had a player suffer a career ending injury. the following transactions ensued:
4/8/83 sustained a career ending fibula injury
4/8/83 placed on 60 Day DL
5/31/83 placed on 15 day DL (less than 60 days after placed on 60 day dl)
6/12/83 placed on 15 day DL (less than 15 days after placed on 15 day dl for 1st time)
6/23/83 Activated from DL (again, less than 15 days)

Several questions:

-Why was player put on 15 day DL twice after being 60 day DL'ed?
-Why when placed on DL subsequently and activated as well do the numbers not add up day wise?
- Shouldn't this be a potential career ending injury, or are all career ending injuries potential? If the latter, then perhaps change the wording to potential career ending.

Finally (sorry!) do any injuries, especially the more serious ones affect a players ratings? I know that the ratings do not change in season, (although that would be an amazing enhancement) do they change in the offseason due to the injury, or are thtey not affected by injuries in any way?

Looks like a bug. Once he had the CEI none of those other transactions should have taken place.

Thank you sir! Actually bought a second copy of this game for a guy in one of my DMB leagues and he's also been sucked in!

Used to be that Career Ending Injuries instantly retired the player and you had to goto free agency to replace him.  Seems kinda odd that Puresim didn't make you do that.  Potential Career Ending Injuries are in the game even though I haven't had one in a very longtime.  Those you can eventually recover from but I do believe they affect the player somewhat.. how much I'm not sure.

Yes, I posted a similar experience about 10 days ago, while Shaun was on sabbatical or whatever.  The CEI guys are sometimes healing and playing on.
