Question about Typhoon armament

It's been a while since I played BTR but from what I remember the Typhoons in the game were all armed with cannons and bombs. Why weren't the option available to arm them with rockets? Will it be available in this version?
If it indeed was possible to arm them with rockets, pardon me and closest mod can lock this thread.

well, right now it is armed with Cannon and bombs
I have a rocket set up, but we are still working on having it work the way we want it to, so it is up in the air if it will be ready by the time the game is
