War in Russia Audio?

Hello everyone:
I just downloaded War in Russia 3.0. It appears there is no audio to accompany the game. Is this accuarate? Or is there someting I did not do correctly in setting up the game? Appreciate your feedback.

There isn't any sounds to the game. When SSI released WiR originally they included a splash screen that had sound, but the game itself doesn't use sound. You're right, it does sound totally stupid, but that's what they did, and Matrix didn't undo this unfortunately. You can junk the files related to sound, and even a lot of the junk Matrix added to the package.

I just play some music from windows media player...........
Nothing like playing along with the Galdiator soundtrack.
Or the theme to Monkey....
If you know the TV show.
Computer game soundtracks and noise do bug you after a while.
