Refueling naval vessels by dumping the fuel out of the sky?!?!

Believe it or not, it is possible. You can refuel naval vessels out at sea just by flying the fuel around in the sky above them. All you have to do is load up the necessary supplies into a heavy bomber, fly the bomber out over the ocean to where your un-fueled ship is, and presto! The supplies are magically dumped out of the sky and transfered straight into your ship's fuel tanks, allowing you to steam off anywhere you want to go.
How is this happening [&:] ?! Are the supplies being teleported from the heavy bombers into the warships?! Or is the fuel just being dumped into the sea by the bombers, where the warships' captains can, by using powerful magic spells, make it all flow straight into their fuel tanks?!
This is ridiculous [8|], and I think it should be considered to be a bug and fixed. [:)]

All I'm saying is that it's impossible to dump fuel drums out of a bomber and onto a ship, [:-] and the fact that you can do this in WaW should be considered a bug and fixed.

Actually, you don't even have to be in the same seazone given the adjacent supply rule. You can drop the supplies in the central med and then move the ships from the eastern med right away. [:D]
I'm not sure how I feel about this but am not sure it is quite the bug you imply it is. You would of course need a very small base in the area to transfer the supply to the ships, but in most cases that was likely. For instance, in the example I suggested you could say the air dropped the supply at a small Italian island (Pantelleria is one) not deserving of mention on the strategic map. And the adjacent supply rule contemplates a certain flexibility with supply, perhaps small scale local transport (trucks in land, small ships at sea) or the fact that one zone away is "close enough" to pick up / use by the units themselves.

Yes, you're right, you can just dump fuel into the sea anywhere you want, as long as it's somewhere next to your naval vessels, and then use it to resupply them. I also see your point about the fact that it might not be a bug, but it sure is a little weird.
