2By3 War In Russia

I'm a bit curious about the new Russian Front - game that Gary is brewing together at 2by3. I've seen their web, but it hasn't been updated in a while.
Does anyone know when they plan to release the game? What are the major changes, improvements etc?

Another issue: when do you all think that there will be a game simulating ALL of WWII in a WiR/Second Front/WitP/-fashion?

Its at least another year away. They have only done "developmental" work on it, since their main project now is WitP.

Probably not something like WiR. Gary is the only one crazy enough to try (he's said he wanted to do a whole European game), but the real world is a bitch sometimes. A game like this probably wouldn't sell that much, and they're better off redoing previous games with a known popularity and following like Pac, and Wir. The market for hard-core war games is very thin.

There is the computer conversion of World In Flames going on. The map is the entire world, and divisions are the core units. Somebody is at least working on it, and betas are available, but there is no telling when, or whether, we'll see this game.
