Europe in Flames anyone?

Hi all,

I've been playing the WWI scen for a while and I think I've got the hang of the game enough to both challenge a human opponent and try a new scenario.

So, anyone want to play Europe in Flames? [:)]

I have read part of the scenario briefing and the first paragraph of the longer word document. I haven't read all of it, so we can negotiate as to how much we should know before we begin. I'd prefer someone else who hasn't played that particular scenario before.

It's a huge game but I haven't got anything better to do for a while (apart from study, work, family, etc, [8|]). Obviously we can't make any iron-clad guarantees but, also obviously, I would prefer someone who isn't going to drop out half way through. I reckon I can do a turn every one-two days, and we can be flexible regarding holidays, work-trips, illness, etc.

I'm happy to play either side, and I'm very friendly, flexible and negotiable (but I do like [>:] to keep things moving).

If you're interested, please PM me or reply to this post. I won't just go with the first person who comes along, necessarily, for such a huge undertaking, but if you're interested in focussing on and playing the game with a minimum of argument and fuss (taunting may be allowed), let's go. Only, be prepared to be thrashed [8D].

Hoping to hear from interested players.

ill give you a game

i assume you mean europe aflame...id advise to read the briefing as there are a lot of house/honour rules especially when dealing with declaration of war and invasions of other countries. do you prefer allied or axis side?

I'm keen to play this scenario with someone who has, like me, never played it before. I'm still open to offers and keen, so let me know.

We can take our time and walk ourselves through all the house rules. I am not much for trash talking I perfer giving kudos when deserved and advice when I can.

Thanks, Dr Foo, and it's good to see someone concerned with respecting their opponents.

I have already lined up a game, though, so I'll have to pass - one is enough!

Thanks everyone.
