Hi, i cannot stay any longer without playing a pbem...
my previous matches are all gone after my return into the scenes...so i badly need a game.
Let's see if somebody wants to fight against this old italian player...
looking for someone who picks up the Jap Empire
Big campaign. Scen 15 (or whatever is it called the big one).
Andrew brown's Latest map (this isn't negotiable).
Nik's mod+AB's map would be the best for me, but even vanilla+AB's map would suit.
House rules:
Allies cannot move any planes on turn 1
Allies cannot form any new TF on turn 1
ASW TF or escort MAX n.6 of dedicated ships.
No allied 4Es night bombing allowed.
Night bombing limited to 2Es and to City attack missions.
Before invading Russia Japan needs to activate it at least 30 days before the invasion.
No sub invasions
No invasions at nonbase or non dot hexes
Limitation to the number of planes in each AF: overstacking isn't allowed when exceeding the 100*level base ( so AF 5, MAX 500 planes allowed)
Any other house rule can be discussed
Realism:
Allied Sub Doc - "OFF"
Japanese Sub Doc - "OFF"
Fog of War - "ON"
Advanced Weather - "ON"
Allied Damage Control - "ON"
Historical First Turn - "OFF"
PDU - "ON"
Variable Setup - "OFF"
December 7th Surprise - "ON"
Reinforcements - "Variable"
Anyway, the house rules are enough imho...but in all my games i stated that what is needed is some common sense by both players not to exploit the game flaws and to try to keep the game as much realistic as it can be.
European timeline.
Can guarantee 2-3 turns each day untill august, where for my 2 weeks of vacation i won't guarantee anything[:D]
I'll do an AAR...
anyone?
