Why do one unit receives more reinforcements than another in the same HQ? For example 100 and 101 Brigades on Western front: first received 30 PzII another received none when I had about 150 of PzII in pool.

I suppose that 100th and 101st brigades were not only ones who had PZII tanks? If yes, then everything should be clear.
There are also certain replacement rules which decide where and how many replacements to go. Lower is amount of equipment un pool, less chances unit has to recieve replacements of this equipment in a given week. that's my idea.

Yes thre was 2 more Bn's but each of them had about 70-80 tanks, and those Brigades had only about 50(replacement level was there 100, in other Bn's HQ 80).

The game gives reinforcements generally on the basis of some order of the units, possibly in data entry order, although I have never determined it. Thus, the first unit reached will get the reinforcements depending on if there are enough to give, the replacement level, and the current strength. It may be that leaders impact who gets first choice also, based on the manual, but I have never seen enough to tell for sure. It could be a random die roll against the leader rating also? Just guessing there.

BTW Is there some sort of limit or rule regarding the amount or reinforcements an unit recieves other than the amount available in the pool and the replacement level. In other words: will a unit when its strength drops below its replacement level get all the required replacements to restore its strength to the strength dictated by the replacement level if the pools permit?

argh. That question turned out quite complicated. I guess I'm having a hard time exprtessing myself today :)

heiks,

There is definitly a limit on how many squads, guns, tanks, or planes a unit can get as replacements per week. There is also a modifier based on how big the pool is for a particular piece of equipment. For instance, A/C groups will receive 10 planes per week unless there are over 1000 planes of that particular type in the pool. If there are over 1000 planes, then the group will receive 30 planes per week. In the case of tanks and guns, I'm not sure but feel that they follow the same rule as planes. For squads, the normal replacement rate is 30 squads per week and I have seen higher but don't know what the threshold is for the higher replacement rate. It is probably 10,000 squads in the pool so this usually only affects the Soviet side as the German side usually is short of squads.

Ok, thanks. This seems to correspond quite well with what I have seen.
