Two things away from a great game

First time poster here,
I think this is a good game, but there are two things keeping it from being a great game.
1) I think the surrender of nations needs to take into consideration the percentage of one's army that is prisoner. In my second game, as Spain, I literally had the entire Austrian army as POW, including Charles and most of the leadership. I held Linz, and was besieging Vienna when other nations DOW's me. Before I completed the siege of Vienna I was forced to surrender when France besieged Madrid and my national morale forced me to surrender. Of course I surrender to AUSTRIA????? Who had no army?????
My suggestion is to have each POW lost to an aggressor count towards lowering your national morale, thus large amounst of prisoners will eventually force the nation to surrender to the nation that has them captive. You should not have to take the capital as the only way to get a surrender offer.
2) Stolen shamelessly form EUII...I think that you should only be able to have a province ceded to a nation that is either adjacent to a province the winner of the already owns, or one that has been occupied. Why? I hate having my morale drop and cause me to surrender to Sweden. What do they take in the surrender treaty? Andalusia of all things???? Naw, they should only get money and other terms...not provinces clear across the map.
Fix these two things and I will find myself playing this game again...unfortunately these two experiences have soured the game for me. Perhaps Empires in Arms will make more sense?!?!?!?!?
