A time consumption bug

There is a bug in both ACOW and TOAW3. If you make your turn continuously, you always lost at least 10% of your turn. But if you have saved a game with (let's say) 80% of your turn left and next open it to continue, after a round of carefull attacks you get still 80% of your turn. I've checked it for a PBEM game with two scenarios - my Cracow 1914 and Todd's Eastern Front 1915. I've met the problem sometimes during my old matches and was thinking that it's an accident based on positive shock value. I've made a test now, basing on a scenario without positive shock, and results are shockig - this is a simple rule - you can slow time and attack 1000 times with one unit if you only save and open file after each round (this is MATRIX edition, isn't it? [;)] ). Unfortunately - you MUST slow time if you must to break your turn for small pieces of your free time [X(].

Thanks for bringing this up, Jarek. I was under the assumption that it was a shock induced effect, as well. However, I've been able to replicate the effect with Arracourt 44, which has no shock events.

Wow how'd that slip by everyone for so long? Thats a pretty major bug.

I have an answer - at least in my case. If you get at least one "continue attack", your turn is going on anyway and it doesn't look so strange. You were at 80%, you should be at 60%, but you are at 70% - the game is on... I believed that "continue attack" doesn't work sometimes because of the positive shock I always use in my scenario. So, to find the bug you need some conditions fulfilled at one moment:
1) a match saved and loaded during a turn
2) all attacks planned for one round forward, only
3) no "continue attack"
4) no early turn ending
5) a player who remembers just exactly value of PREVIOUS information about % of the turn left (1st condition is a challange here)
6) a player who cares % of his turn left after the attacks (Is it still 60%? - No, I probably remember wrong value...)

In fact, any break in your turn gives you an additional round, now. REALLY IMPORTANT for any PBEM match.

Fortunately, I'm not playing any monster scenarios...

Additional issue: the time slowing doesn't work before the first attacks. That means a player can save and reload a game before his first attack and there is no wrong effects.
