I am doing a historical association and I am starting 1887 and am looking at moving the Pittsburgh Alleghenys from the American Association to the National League. How do I do this in the game???


I could not find the answer in search or in the manual. This is an important option to have - the ability to move teams around.....

I have a feeling that you can only realign when the league expands.

yep, not sure though, you might be able to do a 0 team expansion, just to move the teams around though, never tried it though...

I've tried and the version I have 1.18 does not allow zero team expansion. I was trying to move teams around to different divisions/leagues too and realized that it wasn't supported just yet.

I am going to try to expand by 2 teams, move Pittsburgh over adding my AA franchise and then delete one franchise the NL and AA to get back to the 8 teams...... hope this works... will try this after work and see if it can be done.  I just need to remember to BACKUP before I do this....

At this time realignment is only supported during expansion, hopefully this will be an ok work around.
