How to get window mode?

How do I can I run WPO in window mode, so that it doesn't distort on a wide screen?

right click on the desktop shortcut, click properties, and add -wd to the end of the target path. eg:
"C:\Program Files\Matrix Games\War Plan Orange\War Plan Orange.exe" -altFont -wd
