HQ replacement problem

Hi

In my 1941 game as Soviet, it's now July 12, 1942 and I recently began experiencing problems with my HQ replacement levels (from July 5 onward). Of the 25 HQs, something like 16 start each new week at replacement level zero (and therefore zero OPs), even though I've set them from between 50-100% the previous week and they're all on human control too. I've never had this problem before.

All help/comments appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mark

Do these HQs have divisions or other HQs assigned to them? There is a known problem with HQs getting 0 OPs because nothing is assigned to them. It may be just divisions, not HQs that matter, can't remember.

I noticed this in the Fall Blue scenario. The 11th Army and 1 or 2 axis allies Hqs get 0 OPs I think when the germans conquers Sevastopol even you put to the top the replacement level. But maybe this Hqs were disbanded and for this you get O points.

Some HQs have nothing assigned, but the others have divisions and/or air groups assigned and they are still replacement level zero. What also puzzles me is why this is happening only after 12 months of game time have elapsed. Everything was fine until July 5, 1942.

Hi Chimera,

we had the same problem in a PBEM game recently. It also showed up after perhaps eight turns of playing. The solution was, that the HQs with zero OP point/Replacement level need a KORPS attached to them. Just divisions or air groups don't prevent them from loosing all OPs each turn. It's sufficient if there's only a flak (or other) unit in the attached korps.

Hope it works
