I am trying to import a real life player to an association that I've already started. It let's me select the player & year I want, but the assign to box is empty, so I can't select the team I want to assign him to. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Go ahead and import the player. Once he's in the assn., open up his card and assign him to the team of your choice using the "Edit Player" button.

It goes through the import process, but when finished I get a message:
Import players complete, 0 players imported, 1 exception.
Any idea? Sean? Anyone?

Is the player a different version of a player already in the association? In that case I think Shaun said it wouldn't import Lahman players that had the same Lahman ID (different years of the same players all have the same ID). This happened to me when I tried to force retire/import Babe Ruth.

I am using the all-time association I downloaded from one Padre Fan's site. The import is working on other associations. Perhaps there is something I need to reconfigure in the all-time association file.

This means the player is already in the association.

I checked the player list, and the player was not listed. Have tried a couple of different players, get the same message.

Can you try the latest 1.28 patch?

Get a runtime error 3709.
Also, in this particular association, after auto simming a few games, I can't access the menu items at the bottom of the screen. To exit I have control-alt-delete. It will let me access the menu items on the sidebar, however.

Thanks,

Roger
