Just got game & quick install question

Just did Digital Download of game but haven't installed yet so not sure what version it will be (is it already 1.218Beta???) but will I need to install 1.10 patch then the 1.218Beta or can I just do the beta patch? Is the Beta patch a comprehensive patch incorporating changes from previous patches? Thanks for any help.

I installed the game (1.0) and then went straight to patch 1.2.18, and never installed any other patches, so I am confident you do not need to install all the patches sequentially.

Thanks for reply, did happen to see the reply I was looking for in another topic ( If I only bothered to read the manual & other posts now to answer my questions about the game [:D])
