WIR in SVGA

Hello all.
One thing that I've noticed over time,with upgrading my system,getting new video cards,better and larger monitors etc. Wir has begun to suffer from it. At least the strain on my eyes has. The games resolution likes to flicker on my computer and my 20in monitor stretches the graphics out and makes it hard on my eyes.
I'm no expert on programing or coding games,but I was wondering would it ever be possible to make WIR support SVGA? Or is this beyond what the game engine can currently handle?
I can't thank you all enough for all your hard work keeping WIR alive.
