Hi, I just bought panzer command (the disk version)and it will not load. When I activate the only file I see on the disk to unpack the file I get an error that tells me I do not have the authority to unzip the file. As I look at the help section in this file there is a section that asks for a password which i assume means the disk serial number but when I type it in it does not accept the password.I have a 3800+ amd with a nvidea 6600gt w/128 mb. Does anyone have any ideas. I have not had any problems unpacking other unziped files. Is this disk possibly bad??? How do i get a new one from Matrix as this is the only support I see.

I'm not a tech support person.
Do you have administrator rights on that computer?

Hi Warfi,
When you look at the contents of the CD, can you tell me the name, size and date of the file you see there?
Any kind of message that says you don't have authority to unzip a file doesn't come from our software, that would have to be your own system responding based on its settings. Please confirm that you have administrator rights on your system and post a DxDiag file for us per the instructions at the top of this forum.
When you say you've had no problem with other zipped files, does that include ones that were on CD? Please also post a screenshot of the exact error if you can so we can see what type of message it is.
If by chance the CD is actually bad, we will definitely replace it.
Regards,
- Erik

Thanks Erik, I assume then that this is the right way to load the game but windows has got me locked out. I will check but this is a new computer and I am the only user and have to be the only administrator one would think. If I can un pack the file I should not have any more problems.
