I'm playing The Great War, it's December 1915, and suddenly four-fifths of the British armed forces (and many Russians) have gone to "reorganising" status. What's going on? Is it the weather? The u-boat campaign? Help!

This happened to me in a PBEM game one turn during the PUSAN PERIMETER days, and I WAS THE US. LOL it does seem to be untimely.
Not sure why it was EVERYONE that decided to reorganize

It might be a shock effect. These can produce undesired results.

If you're playing Todd Klemme's Great War scenario, you might be on turn 48 or something (i.e. somewhere in 1918 with monthly turns) and be hit by the Spanish flu shock effect. It's pretty severe, with one turn at 30 and another at 70 before raising again at 100.

If it's Norm Koger's scenario and you're in the first three turns, it's definitely shock-related.

Curious then. I've checked the scenario, the shock values I was mentioning from memory are the following:
- Turn 1: 33%
- Turn 2: 50%
- Turn 3: 75%
- Turn 4: 100%
I'm playing this scenario against the Communist PO in between pbem turns and I didn't notice anything weird with shock. Did you apply the latest patch (3.0.0.17) by the way?
