Tanks that dig in and don't move

I was playing the "Buffalo Soldiers" last night when 3 of my US tanks automatically "dug-in" when not moved for several turns. (a defensive berm was built around the unit). The tanks were undamaged, in "advance to 222,222", in radio contact, and com control was turned off. In this condition they had no movement points and therefor could not move.
How do you get these tanks to get moving again? I noticed infantry do the same, but were able to move when needed to.
Thanks.

They must have gone into "defend" stance and you need to change then back to advance stance. If teh command button is off units that remain stationary will automatically try to dig in, but they should move when you try to move them.
Did you have Command off and they got "stuck"?

Paul, Yes, Command was off in the prefs. "Advance" was selected in the info screen. I noticed in all 3 stuck units indicated, "Advance to 222,222." Is this the mode you are referring to? You can toggle this option to "defend" or "advance", correct? Again, infantry would dig-inand could be moved when needed, but not the tanks.
I may have a saved game. If not I'm pretty sure I can repeat and send you the file. Thanks.

Any body else see this - I tried once and couldn't get it to happen...not saying it may not be a bug, but need some corroboration in reproducing it!

Maybe it's another instance of the disappearing "moves" field.

Paul, I have the saved game with a couple of "stuck" tanks. I'll try and send it over to you. It must be something I'm doing wrong if others are not experiencing this.
I'm playing another scenerio tonight at will see if it happens again.
Again, thanks.

Send it on! The disapearing movement field is an odd one, it seems to come back the next turn...
Look out for this and let me know when and in what circumstances you see this...
