Hi everyone,

A problem has been reported with 1.2.25 that can cause a crash due to levies. 1.2.26 fixes this problem.

You can now download v1.2.26 from our Members' Club as long as you have registered your copy of Crown of Glory. Click on the "MEMBERS" link in the top navigation bar and look under Registered Downloads once you've logged in.

I am afraid I cannot see 1.2.26. I am registered, logged in, and go to the downloads section, but can only see 1.2.18

Are you looking in the Registered Downloads?

I seem to face the same problem as The Hunter. The "registered downloads" link brings me to

which is the

Crown of Glory v1.2.18 Beta Patch

At least it says so (and the readme.txt file as well), I haven't downloaded the 30+ MB in order to check out whether just the label is wrong.

I can only see 1.2.18beta patch even though in the registered downloads section it has 1.2.26 7 AUG 2006? When you click on the download link it takes you to the 1.2.18 3 MAR 2006 beta patch.

I am downloading it now just in case it is simply labeled the same.

Hi, I stopped playing COG for a while. Recently I got the latest update 1.2.26. However, I encountered a platoMFC error even before having the main menu screen (where to choose a scenario to play). Do I need to d/l any previous patches? Any idea?

Ok, I upgraded to 1.2.26 but I don't see the upgrade to the game manual. So I question if I have successfully upgraded or not but the game says I have. Any way to get my hands on the manual upgrade?

It should appear in the windows program list of COG items: click start; all programs; crown of glory; COG Manual Update. The old manual is still there as well and remains the link on the games opening screen which might be causing the confusion.

I think that you need to load 1.2.25 and then 1.2.26 as the latter is only a part patch to correct a problem in the former.

I could't download the 1.2.25 patch. I failed to get connected to the ftp server all the time.

I have just tried it (from downloads in the Support section) and the download did start at my request.

I just tried to download patch 1.2.26 from the members page and was unable. The link was no good!

Done 1.2.25 + 1.2.26 update and from this point ...
PlatoMFC error even before having the main menu screen (where to choose a scenario to play).
Update the video drivers but no change!

I have the same problem.  Newest beta update, registered and the game crashes before I even get started--on both computers and they work fine for every other program I use.

What's the MFC error message?
