Hi, I am searching for a nice book about tanks and armored vehicles of Russia in WWII. I would like to have there every type of armors with datas and pictures (for each type), differences between versions, short story + if it is possible a sideview.
If you are searching for something like that about german tanks, then I have "Encyclopedia of German Tanks of World War Two" from Peter Chamberlain and Hilary Doyle, which is real perfect in every way. I have also "British and American Tanks of World War Two" which is a little bit older and a point worse, but still very good.
Do you know about some good book about russian equipment?

I found this one to be a good reference for Soviet armor:

by Tim Bean, Will Fowler

Here is a good book by Steven Zaloga (an expert in the field): Red Army Handbook 1939-1945. This is a soft cover book that covers all aspects of the Soviet Army (armor, infantry, arty, cavalry, and airborne) . It has good charts and photos.

Thanks!!! The best way it seems for me Soviet Tanks and combat vehicles of world war two, but on Amazon it is from 91 USD + shipping cost, which is quite tough. I will wait a while and hope, that I can find it somewhere else a bit cheaper. I take a look also on the other ones... J.
