I asked this question in the AAR section, but phrased it badly. Constdering Airfield Attacks, if a stack of 3 Bombers attacks an airfield (occupied only by air units), and the attacking air units are on "Combat Support-Limit Lisses", is this different from and airfield attack. What about the same situation, except the defending airfield has air and ground units present? Finally (the crux of the question) is there any way to assign a STACK of three bombers to "Airfield Attack", other than to click them one at a time? Sounds lazy [:-], but if you are the German in FiE or DNO or some other monster, there are a lot (
~20,000) of Soviet sitting ducks that need t be disposed of.

a) an airfield attack is exactly the same as a normal attack except that only air units are targetted. So if the target hex only contains air units then there is no difference at all.
b) I find I get the best results from attacking with a limited number of bombers (i.e. one unit) against each airfield anyway.

[;)] I woldn't think that......I just phrased the question a little more completely here. These forums are real lifeblood for someone new to the game, or new to PBEM'ing the game.
