The treachery has been consummate. German forces have crossed our frontiers breaking the Non-Agression Pact. They will pay for this. The final act will end in the streets of Berlin and Von loveman will have his hangman.

The long retreat has begun...

Long live Stalin!!!!

Oh, oh, loveman, you really don ́t know against who are you fighting. Be careful.
Josan favorite tactics:
- he ́ll don ’t fight until you reaches Leningrad, Vyazhma, Demianks or Kiev, but he will send little units near your lines supplies to cut them after your panzers.
- héll dońt evacuate factories during the first turns. He use the railroad capability to quickly send units to their fighting positions.
Now Ím beginning the same scenario against Josan, because the psychiatrist ordered this to me: Josan always defeat me (well, not always. I won a 1941 and 1942 scenarios as German, but we ́ve played dozens of times). I had a inferiority complex (“I never will win against Josan, Ím a really very bad player...”, but the psychiatrist said: play against him 1941 scenario as German, in WIR 3.101, and may be -only may be- yoúll can win.
Wére playing with the home rules “standard” (see “home rules proposal”, my last resume), and without HQ mules. A target only can be air attacked by a single HQ one time (but can be attacked from multiple HQ́s).
If you want, I can resume our fight, to compare both (can be interesting).
In the first turn, were destroyed 9061 squads, 1845 AFV, 3277 guns and 6890 Russian aircrafts. Ím trying to force to surrender in turn 2 the Mechanized armies who have T-34 and KV-1, this way they will can ́t fight in the battle of Moscow. That́s why there are now 4 Mech armies surrounded (the 3 and 11 in Kaunas, and the 4 and 8 in Lov), but without be attacked.
In this first turn, 2 Mech and 4 Inf armies surrended, 2 Mech and 4 Inf armies shattered. Has been conquered Riga, Vilna and Brest-Litovsk.

Second turn Lorenzo (German) vs Josan (Russian):
The surrounded soviet armies now surrender. Four Mech armies (three of them with T-34 and KV-1) surrenders, three infantry armies surrenders too. One Infantry army shattered, and other “dummy” infantry army shattered (dummy army: army with very little force, but placed near of the futures Panzer supply lines to cut them).
The Red Air Force goes to airports east of Leningrad and Kiev, and near Moscow. But Lutwaffe long range bombers attack them. The I-15 cańt stop the Ju88 and He111. I think the rest of Red Air Force will fly to Siberia, to train for the battle of Moscow.
Fall Minsk, Tarnopol and Dargavpolis. Odessa falls too after a surprise Panzer attack -was no garrison, I think-. After the fall of Odessa, the railroad Odessa-Tarnopol has been cut by the two extremes, so the south soviets armies haveńt supply anymore.
In the north and the center, the destruction of Frontier Soviet Army is completed, now the Panzers can advance. In the south still are Soviet units.
Soviet losses:
Squads: 2800
AFV: 2400
Art: 952
Aircrafts: 952
The most part of Soviet losses are because surrender, so are not recoverable. The aircrafts were destroyed on ground.

The long withdraw continues!!!

The infamious SS Das Reich and GD from Von loveman had been bombed by the VVS (we are still alive!)disrupting the divisions (Minsk sector).
The remnants of the frontiers armies are going west to make a guerilla war against german supply lines!!
Special detachments of political troops has been delivered to Kiev...

It seems that loveman is upgrading his computer.
The fight Lorenzo-Josan still is on.

Turn 3, Lorenzo (German) vs Josan (Russian):
The Pzs advances in north, center and south. Not so far as they could, but I prefer to secure my supply lines against little units ambushed in the flanks: Íve destroyed 7 of this dangerous dummy units!
In the south, the Hungarian and Rumanian Armies try to force to surrender some isolated Soviet units. Well, they are gaining experience (this is the better I can say about them).
3 Soviet Infantry armies surrender.

Soviet losses:
Squads: 1500
AFV: 33
Art: 504
Aircrafts: 10

Two Pzkorps assault Kiev, backed by the entire Lutwaffe. After multiple assaults, the Russian garrison resist.
Two infantry armies surrenders in south, two shattered, and two dummy armies destroyed.
The German infantry armies are near the panzers, to avoid the cut of supply lines.
Soviet losses in the turn:
Inf: 654

Kiev conquered easily (the Russians evacuated the most part of garrison), and the Dnieper crossed. The Germans are in Smolensk, too.
The soviet defense consist in multiple dummy units, trying to cut the supply lines after Pzs.
11 of them destroyed.
Little soviet losses:

*Evil Spaniard War*

Kiev was evacuated leaving only a small garrison to try to slow the german advance. All factories were transferred previously. The scorched earth policy is a fact!!!
The Russian Army has withdraw to the Leningrad-Demyansk-Vyazma-Bryansk-Kharkov-Dnepropetrov line.

Long live Stalin!!!!!

I believe that the russians will have a difficult time in Wir 3.1 if Kleist is sent to the attack on Moscow.

Very interesting so far.

Lorenzo (German) vs Josan (Soviet)
July, 27th 1941.

Little ground resistence. The Germans take Velikiye Luki and are near Leningrad. The Pzs at the gates of Dnepropretovsk, the city resist the first assault. 3 infantry armies surrenders, 2 dummy units shattered.
The Soviets try to prepare a fight in the air, but Lutwaffe attacks the airports with long range aircrafts (without fighters) and destroys 965 soviet aircrafts on ground.

Soviet losses in the turn:
squads: 1041
tanks: 70
guns: 290
aircrafts: 963

The soviet resistance begin to become more harder.

A succesful counterattack has been made against a romanian panzer corps, retreating in disorder, in Dnepropetovsk sector. Not too much losses inflicted indeed.

Despite the aircraft losses the VVS manages to attack the rumanian airports, destroying about 130 planes in the ground (Bf-109E and BR-20).

Long live Stalin!!!!
