whats the smallest size airfield a level bomber can land at?

The question should be "What is the smallest sized airfirld a level bomber can operate effectively from depending on the number of engines it has?"

i'm trying to air supply one chinese base from another. but i don't see it happening. destination base is airfield size one.

Air Supply takes two forevers and 40 days more. Besides, you also have to take into consideration how far your Transport AC are flying. I have a suspicion that if it extended range or better, you use up almost as much supply as you fly in.

What you're doing is fine.
Bombers don't carry many supplies.

LCU's in the hex will suck them up to meet their minimum supply state before you will see any leftovers starting to appear at the base.

Use more bombers and transports.
You'll see it creep up a little at a time.
Bad weather also grounds them.

What? Its the correct answer.

Now, if he'd asked what was the minimum size that supplies can be air-lifted to the answer would have been "0". Because there doesn't have to be an airfield at the receiving end. The longest answer would have been to him asking what size airfield do level bombers operate normally from. Then it would have been "4 + (aircraft type's max load/6500) FRD".
