I noticed that keyboard commands sometimes don't work. In particular the F12 to pause and the num enter to return to 1 sec.

I have found that the Enter on the keyboard different than the Enter from my keypad.

The Keypad one drops me back to 1:1 while the keyboard one zooms in on the map. At least this happens for me.

Sorry, I am not experiencing any problems with the F12.  Does this happen in solitaire or MP mode?  In MP mode, because I am on a dial up connection, I have a long lag time before the F12 kicks in.  When I want to pause a game in MP, sometimes it takes 5-8 seconds before the game actually pauses for me.  [;)]

This is solo.  I'm going through the tutorials (taking a while since I've had a virus the last week or so).  Never had a problem until #4.  Worked ok for a while then as the first plane flew in to the Puller, I tried F12 and it didn't work.  Then I tried kpenter and it didn't work.  So I went to the dropdown menu to pause and that worked.  Since I didn't have a problem until #4 I wonder if this might be specific to that scenario.  But I didn't have a problem in that scenario until the plane started flying to the Puller and started getting close.  I changed keyboards and had the same problem.

Ah!  I think I have the answer.

F12 only works when you have either selected a Map or the Game Status Display as the active window.  Try clicking on either the map or the Game Status window before hitting F12.

That's probably the problem.  I'll try it when I go back to the lesson.  Gotta lie down for a while.

That would be a good one to change, like a bug fix.

I already made that suggestion to AGSI pre-release.

I asked if they might make make the F12 key functional with all the different windows (i.e. Unit display and Message Window).  It was decided not to do it that way.  [:(]

C'est la vie....
