Emperor Bombur vs. President Nikademus GC Nik mod 8.0

-Tokyo, 03:00h 12/07/41-Japanese Carrier Hiryu, 300 miles North of Hawaii

-Tanaka: I still cannot understand why we must restart, we were winning big. The yankee carrier fleet was decimated TWO TIMES....
-Yamamoto: Orders from the Emperor. He seems willing to playtest the new version of Nik mod
-Yamaguchi: I don´t mind starting again, we can destroy their carriers another time
-Yamamoto: Hmmmm....I really don´t know if it´s possible...the new rules seem to have weakened Japan a lot. The IJAAF is furious
-Yamaguchi: Well, we will miss the uber Tojo....
-Nagumo: I don´t think it´s a good idea to play against Nik, since he has written the rules
-Hara: I liked v5.0....
-Yamamoto: Btw, did you receive the message from Washington regarding house rules?
-Hara: We didn´t, but it´s likely that President Nikademus won´t allow us to strafe their PT boats
-Mikawa: Well, at least he won´t strafe our barges....
......

12/09/41-4:00h-Japanese Carrier Hiryu

-Yamamoto: Not a very good start. The attack on PH resulted in heavy damage to enemy BB´s and lots of aircraft destroyed in the grond, but the carriers weren´t there. To make things even worse, the disembark in Wake was repulsed. We are now heading to Wake in order to protect our transports. We know that Nik likes to attack the poor ships with the Lexington.
-Tanaka: How do you know the Lexington is close to Wake?
-Yamamoto: Well, we´re playing with historical settings....
-Yamaguchi: Hmmm...it´s unlikely that Nik will repeat his past movements
-Yamamoto: We lose nothing by investigating what is going on in Wake....
-Mikawa: Any news on Malaya campaign? Will Nik try to intervene with TF Z again?

-Nik makes his first movement. He decided to flee with TF Z....our Nells located him, but scored only one torpedo hit in the POW. Betties attacked enemy ships fleeing from the Philippines, sinking two AK´s. Hong Kong didn´t fall, but local forts are being destroyed.

A few setbacks

-The war against western imperialism is going well, despite some unexpected setbacks. One of our subs was heavily hit by enemy DD´s fleeing from Philippines. BB Kongo was hit by an enemy biplane torpedo bomber and suffered light damage. An assault on Legaspi ended in disaster as the enemy moved a division there, however, our troops repulsed two enemy conterattacks. Hong Kong fell and three enemy DD´s were scuttled, for some reason the enemy didn´t retreat the ships.
The Navy complained to the army about the lack of fighter cover to the Malaya invasion fleet. Army officials argued that Khota Baru was too far for effective LR-CAP, and instead a raid against the airbase of Kuatan was launched with some success.

President Nik?!

You would have to think that some serious ballot stuffing took place and/or his opponent's family had something "mysterious" happen to them in order for him to win an election. [:D]

Tojos are very important to the defensive war to be waged against the imperialists after the SRA is secured. Nik mod´s v8.0 downgraded the Tojos (I think he is right, btw) and also kept the late Ki-61 arrival...I tried to get a earlier Ki-61 from Nik, but the lobby had no effect[:(].....

-In the news....the seas are crawling with enemy subs. Three Japanese transports were hit, but the enemy paid for his success with 2 subs.

President Nik?!

You would have to think that some serious ballot stuffing took place and/or his opponent's family had something "mysterious" happen to them in order for him to win an election. [:D]

Hey all of you, you may laugh at grand-prez Nik, that's because you've got no idea about the meaning of the word with the same pronunciation in french. I may tell you Bombur may find it painful [:D] [;)]
