I am currently playing a PBEM and I have used the great print report feature to see how I do overall. I found something strange which I hope has a logical explanation and not being a bug.

I took a comparative look on how my Il-2 production had done in 5 weeks (period 14th Dec 1941to 18th Jan 1942). After calculating the number of total Il-2 I had fielded I found out that it had increased with almost 700 machines within this period. My production however could possibly have produced 375 machines in that same timeperiod. I found this strange and I have tried to find a logical explanation to it. I could see in the old original reinforcement chedule that a Dive Bomber squad should arrive in Dec 1941 and that could maybe make up for another 200 or so IF that unit was not filled with Il-2 machines from the pool that is and just appeared from from nowhere.

Does someone have an explanation to this phenomenome? To newly arrived units take resources from the production pool? Any other possible explanation?

I personaly have no obvious explanation to this. However I can do some assumptions.
1. Report file routine is still buggy and needs to be improved
2. Some shattered(overran) air units units arived back to RVGK (though with reduced strength)
3. there can be similar routine for aircraft which makes small portion of "destroyed" aircraft to return to pool after awhile. Taking into account summer losses 300 planes are nothing.
4. your reinforcement schedule can be wrong(OOB is constantly being upgraded and improved by our heroic RickyB)

Well. There may be something else. But if it is production bug, it is very hard to notice. You would greatly help Arnaud if you could supply additional info about it, or may be supply 2 save games(one before anomalous increasing of IL-2 and one after it).

I think that "destroyed" aircraft in the inform at the last of a turn are "destroyed" and "damaged". And damaged are recuperable.
