This Wargame seems awesome to me. Is it as intense as it looks?
From what I have read here it seems to be hard to win if you do not think things out.
I like that in that you are not just in a click fest.

This game is definately not a clickfest. You will lose badly if you play that way.
If you are patient and use good tactics you will do much better against the AI.
If you play others in PBEM then that's where the game shines. Nothing beats taking on a human... they're so sneaky! [:'(]
Buy and try it, you won't be disappointed.[8D]

I agree. This is similar to CMBTB in that you need to rely on tactics not speed but game play is more intense as the game moves a little faster than it's brother CMBTB. That's what makes this game so great because you need to use your brain a little and think like a real general would not a gamer.
It's more of a simulation of real war to me and not just some WWII game that's has nice effects or graphics but little in the way of gp. I found myself getting lost somewhere between Berlin and Stalingrad in the frigid winter of 41'-42'. That doesn't happen to often though and is a sure sign of a fantastic war game.
The editor just adds even more replayability to PC but I don't understand why the developer did not offer this in the beginning or at all to the buyer's. Moreover, PC will hold me off until the infamous and log awaited "Theater of War arrives for public purchase.

The game has potential. It appears to like a few others at first, but the way firing routines(and other elements) are handled seems closer to miniature rules. That is very interesting in terms of gameplay. Not much has happened that seems outside the realm of the believable in terms of gameplay results.
I haven't been able to play as much as I would like, due to a graphic problem where the ground texture dissapears and some really bad pathfinding (and a busy month). There are some issues that were fixed with the first patch, such as making the infantry somewhat more detailed and a few much needed orders(though it could be more detailed still). Another issue is the AI. The first few games, it seems to do fine. After that, canned setup positions and little tactical movement make for limited play. A map editor would have also made for more replay.
Graphically, I find the game a bit lacking. The models are adequate, but I don't find myself "there" like I do with some other games of the same scale. The desolate setting of Russia in 1943 isn't the best locale for showing off a new graphic engine, so maybe the next battle will look better.
I'm trying pretty hard to like the game. Which is a good sign-there's something there to really like. But there are still some problems. Once the engine "gells", it will be fantastic.

Thanks Guys, This game really looks great from my view. I can't hardly wait to get my hands on this and start playing. I am playing another game now that is great , a Naval game. But I also am a big fan of WWII ground armor Combat. And I think this game is at the top of my list on this type.
But thanks for you answers, when I read post like this where I can see that you really love the game it makes it even better.
