As the result of adding/disbanding pilots on HI, I have some switched from initial Independent to Home Defence. <known bug, hopefully to be fixed>

Will such groups fly any mission from CV or it is better to assign them to non restricted HQ?

I don't encounter any restriction for groups on CVs with Home Defence HQ assigned...

Hi everybody,
I have the same with my CV fleet. When the go to port or the aircrafts are on land during one turn they switch to the HQ of the city. But I can not change them back to independant. Even you say it is not necessary but.... just for my optical view...

You should put your planes back onboard the same turn, after you draw the rplacements.

CV's will sometimes change their aircraft HQ's at the first port you disband them in.
Remember this one.[;)]
It is extremely important if you wish to keep these CV air groups with a flexible HQ.

Thanks, but how can I change them back into independent?
I play since 6 real month (Game 07/42) as a Japan party and sunk all the big US ones...

It would be nice not to start again..

And now all my CV are going to port for the upgrade....

You can't.

Pick a non-restrictive HQ assignment.
It's just as good.[;)]

What is an non-restrictive HQ assignment for you Halsey??
