Windows 2000 Problem ...Can Anyone Help ...Please

Please can anyone tell me how to get WiR 3.101 to run under Windows 2000 pro... I'm tearing my hair out.. It keeps erroring out on "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an Illegal instruction" can anyone help me please ?? Thanks ...Shane

I did some searching at www.dejanews.com on this and found a number of entries on it. However, only 1 had a solution, which mentioned an old command.com file being present. You may want to check your command.com date, and if prior to 2000 that is your problem. All the articles tie this to running old DOS programs on Win NT/2000. I have not had any issues running WIR on 2000 myself, except memory errors, so it is not a general problem.
