There are free audio converters which allow you to change audio format. I use one to add different music... Look here

For those who didn't know already ... If you wanna replace or add music, rename the file(s) you're adding to "music01" "music02"

Wanna have specific music for a specific scenario, make a folder in the SOUNDS folder with the exact name as the scenario...

Hmm interesting idea, gonna try to add specific sounds for my Vietnam scenarios, especially radio conversation recordings from back then and see the result [8D]

I tried this and now the game crashes when I try to open a scene. I think I messed up the music0.ogg file

:-(

if anyone could email me a stock music0.ogg file? or I guess I will have to re-install.

I have sent you a mail. Don't know what you did wrong, are you sure your file had the right sound format? Silvanski posted a link to a format converter earlier in this thread.

According to his post over at SZO, Hellen solved his problem last night. Apparently, he had misnamed his custom sound files, by having an extra ".ogg" in the file name.

Would it be posible to post zip files of the custom sound files in the scenario design section, like maybe have a section like the graphic mods thread?

I've got 'em in a zipfile , but it's almost 4MB, too large for uploading here.
