Windows XP

Just tried to install WIR 3.101 on a new laptop using Windows XP. Opening screen OK, Credits screen steady but spilt, rest of the screens rolling rapidly. Tried compatability features in Windows, but no luck so far. Any ideas ? Just finished first 1941 scenario of 3.101 on another computer. brilliant ! congratulations to everone who has worked so hard on WIR. Happy Christmas.
