Game is 3-3 headed to bottom of 7th. Starter gives up 2 runs in bottom of 7th to make game 5-3. Human team scores in top of 8th to make game 5-4. Human team brings on reliever to start the 8th. No more runs scored in game. Reliever gets loss! The reliever came in trailing, it was 5-4 when he entered the game, game ended 5-4.

I've had that happen twice. Is an oddity.
