Thanks for the AAR, HS. One more question: it might have been explained somewhere before, but what does 'Mobilization 33/33' mean (bottom of screen)?

roger, as Joram says, it is the numbers that I have and the number I am allowed

which is part of the reason, I keep saying, I got a battle army but can't hold ground, I just don't have the troops, now France and Russia are much larger

there are upgrades to help with that limit, but, 10% of 30 is not much, while 10% of 100 is much better :)

so as I was saying, it is easier for Nations on the mainland to expand, and grow then it is for England, Protectorates will give you free troops

(if they got them)

Will your man-power limit increase as you conquer new territories or will it stay the same through the whole game? (not counting upgrades)

Was that in COG? I dont recall.

Do different units cost different amounts in the "mobilized" field or are all units the same? Do militia/garrison units count towards that total? Since you can control the water around England can England disband its militia type units to increase the power it can project as the game progresses?

Thanks.

No, one of the complaints was the size of the Armies you could build, if you had the money, now your a bit more limited

Do different units cost different amounts in the "mobilized" field or are all units the same?
I think you are asking does each unit cost 1, or do different units cost different, in this case, I think it is all cost 1

(something is nagging me when I say that, so there maybe something else in there too)

Do militia/garrison units count towards that total?
Yes, I think so, I can go double check, just to be sure

Since you can control the water around England can England disband its militia type units to increase the power it can project as the game progresses?

hmmmm, lol, I don't think like that, but, if the above answer is correct, yes, I think you could, simi dangerous, plus you have rebel troops that can pop up, with no garrison, they just walze in and take over, so as I said, dangerous, but I think doable

Thanks.

I see you found the bold key. That should certainly clarify your posts.

and this how the Spanish people feel about the last month

Image

Since I got tired of waiting, I played CoG this weekend. This screen is interesting, has it been changed from the original game? In CoG I do not get this list separated by months, but instead a loooooong list of modifiers. Is it easier to tell what happened this month only in EE?
In CoG the list could look like this;

Tax rate: 0
Lost battles: -8
Plenty of food: 5
Capitol captured: -150
Luxurees: 25
Great leader: 25
Tax rate: 0
Lost battles: -8
Plenty of food: 5
Capitol captured: -150
Luxurees: 25
Great leader: 25
Tax rate: 0
Lost battles: -8
Plenty of food: 5
Capitol captured: -150
Luxurees: 25
Great leader: 25

So what I really ask, is this:
Is the modifiers now shown per month and not total since the start of the game?

?

I normally use bold when answering within a post

if not, no need to be show it as bold

besides, the way I write, bold isn't going to help my spelling much

A few Question if you don't mind HS ?

Can you upgrade Divisions weapons like you can in FOF or build specific things like capitols, horsde farms, armouries etc etc ?

Just reading the AAR makes it feel a little more abstracted than FOF ?

weapons, no, you can buy/get upgrades, which help the skills, but the weapons are pretty much genitc (?) (which with in reason, a musket is a musket, a sword is a sword and so on)

Cannons, you do not upgrade the weapon, but you can upgrade the unit, size, firepower, speed and so on

inside the provinces, FoF sort of upgraded on the CoG idea, and CoGEE went back to the CoG set up

so, you don't build or buy as you do in FoF, you have levels of the same building type in each province, which range from 0 to 10 (or none, as in Docks that are not on the coast)

and here, you improve what you have, take Courts, each level offers some advantage to you, but at level 5 it takes that province out of the counting for waste, it also helps with the skill of any diplos built there and on how many Diplo Actions you can do a turn

Barracks, depending on how many you got, is the type of Troop you can build (also here Factories tie into this, you need so many Factories to be able to build Arty types)

(easier then it may sound :)

to be honest, I think there is more under the hood in CoG/CoGEE then there was in FoF
